Sculpture Elective

My two weeks of sculpture I have done i Have found it very Exciting and enjoyed every day of it that I have done. My theme was about dripping blood , I liked experimenting different ways of our idea trying different kind of materials I thought it was fun and enjoyfull , I begand by researching different kind of artist that I had found very interesting eg; Sterling Ruby, George Stoll & Jessica Stockholder. I then started sketching ideas for my sculpture experimenting on how using colour and what materials I should be able to use, My work was on dripping blood so i decided to use all different colours not just red into it, I made  sculpture about 4ft tall using chicken wire carboard to get it into some kind of a shape after that I placed a roller of a material to hold it standing, I then started it dripping colour all on top of it, I loved it, It came out well, very glossy, shiny, messy looking, and here are few of my work that I done....

what am doing at the moment on my project?

Right now am doing a close up of an old pillar, I have started drawing different angles of it using different kind of material on how to do pillars,I have done a few large scales of a monoprints and a few small scales. These monoprints are done very well and give a nice picture of the pillars and also gives an old looking pillar. Its done in black and white colour, My tutors seem to like the large scales of my pillars done in monoprints, I also have done a very large sheet of the pillars using some bits of materials stuck on the page but still not totally finished with it.
As I have done alot on the old pillars I have jumped on the modern pillar which concentrating still on different ways i can explore this modern pillar and using different materials for it and how to do a 3D of it.
